Ching Chi Design, specializing in public facility design, landscape, and overall facade planning
Outline a timeless life with elegance

The main design focus is to express a spatial imagery that embodies a sense of "presence." The works often feature walls, shadows, reflections, water, and interfaces, along with simple geometries, creating a tranquil atmosphere. Design techniques such as "the flow of time, theatrical concepts, natural intrusion, and the contrast of light and dark" are integrated, utilizing intangible elements to deepen the design and influence the viewer's perception, thereby providing the most authentic representation of existence in life.

The scope of work includes architectural facade design, interior design, interior installation design, and outdoor landscape design. We are passionate about the overall interdisciplinary integration of design, from the broad architectural direction to the finer details. The various objects within the space, as well as the related elements of the interior and exterior, including their management and usage, are all considered in our design thinking. We continuously pursue the value of life and living, which is also reflected in our work, lifestyle, and creations.

A professional team focused on overall design planning, possessing rich experience and innovative thinking.
We are dedicated to perfectly combining art and functionality, creating spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and practical.
Through a profound understanding of the environment, we enhance the quality of community life, ensuring that every detail reflects the needs and emotions of the users
Ching Chi launched its Summer Research Program in 2016, establishing a dedicated R&D team. Rooted in the principles of existential theory, the program is guided by the director, who annually identifies and develops significant topics across two major dimensions: environmental and cultural context. The research outcomes are compiled into comprehensive reports, which serve to inform and shape Ching Chi’s unique practical design approach.
Since the summer of 2016, Ching Chi has brought together university students from both local and international institutions, alongside in-house designers, to inquiry two focal research topics: wind catchers and ecological box. This rigorous, long-term research has yielded preliminary results, which are progressively implemented in practical design projects according to the program’s objectives.

External media encompasses various formats, including interviews, magazine reports, and submissions, showcasing our expertise and concepts in the design field. We share our design philosophy and processes in depth, allowing more people to understand how we transform spaces into a combination of art and functionality. Through these platforms, we hope to inspire a broader audience and continue to promote the development and exchange of the design industry.
We are continuously expanding our robust internal design organization while exploring major cities in Taiwan to seek out service partners that share our philosophy. We have invested in constructing office spaces that showcase the company’s design ideals, incorporating advanced professional hardware and software equipment. Ching Chi provides its members with an exceptional design environment grounded in the concept of existence. We hope to attract talented designers who are passionate about spatial design to join our team.

Design Research
Ching Chi Research
Ching Chi's R&D focuses on pressing contemporary issues, particularly environmental sustainability, addressing topics that may seem minor but are essential to the larger discussion. The team explores these issues and embeds practical solutions that reflect the responsibility and courage expected of modern Taiwanese designers.
Another significant focus is on cultural topics. Taiwan's complex history has left the nation in a state of political uncertainty and unresolved tensions. Yet, just as individuals and countries must confront their pasts to move forward with confidence, examining and evolving cultural narratives is a critical responsibility for Taiwanese designers. Ching Chi sees this engagement with cultural identity as a matter of both professional duty and moral courage.

Five senses experience
Triangle House
Our director has been overseeing a residential project in Sanyi, Miaoli, located adjacent to the Tzu Chi Tea Plantation, the April Tung Blossom Trail, and the Sanyi Wood Sculpture Museum. Nestled into the natural landscape, this project integrates seamlessly with its surroundings, creating a unique, multifunctional space that combines art, dining, and living. Designed as a minimalist living space using the design language of existential, it reflects the Ching Chi vision of an ideal lifestyle and is thus named "Triangle house"
In the future, regular intimate gatherings will be held here, offering a space for discussion and sharing on the topics of existential space and lifestyle.
