Using the concept of transparent layering, the design creates a spatial depth that balances elements of proximity and distance, clarity and blur, flow and fixity. The role of walls extends beyond merely defining space; they also provide a setting for silence and contemplation, shaping emotionally rich scenes. The interaction of water, trees, and glass creates a dreamlike playfulness, with natural light casting shadows through the glass walls into the interior, allowing the outside landscape to become part of the indoor experience. The interior design features open, wall-less screens that integrate various furniture types, adapting to different living situations and showcasing the serene beauty hidden within the bustling city. Overall, architecture serves as a container for life, reflecting the state of living and the inner self.

Overlapping Scenes
Like transparent paper layered upon one another, creating an overlap of scenes that produces a sense of depth akin to a plane. It balances the near and far, the clear and the vague, the flowing and the fixed, the light and the heavy. The imagery overlaps between the physical and the ethereal, establishing a powerful equilibrium within the space.

The Role of Walls
A heavy wall opens several holes, creating entrances and viewpoints, framing a scene. The first wall of the building defines the space, the second shapes the scene, and the third provides silence. Walls no longer merely delineate space; they allow for silence, anticipation, and contemplation, shaping a scene rich in emotion and visual depth.

Play
Between water, trees, and glass—both semi-permeable and permeable—the interplay of shadow and real environments creates a sense of play. Shadows of bamboo and sweetgum trees, illuminated by sunlight, project onto glass walls, crossing into the stone walls indoors. The tranquility of the water is stirred by the wind, creating illusory ripples through the glass. A subtle atmosphere shifts between tension and gentleness within the space, merging into an imaginative fusion of time.

Semi-Indoor
By breaking the barrier of walls, the outdoor walls become visual enclosures. The real walls (glass and screen doors) detach from their practical role, dissolving the boundaries between walls, allowing semi-outdoor spaces to become a tension-filled experience within the indoor realm. The natural and artificial landscapes can freely extend into the indoors and outdoors, letting the evening rain and tree shadows under sunlight flow rhythmically into the interior, becoming one of the elements of the indoor scenery. This immersion of nature serves as a reminder of existence, expressing the emotional perception of time and space.

Integrated Flow of Space
The indoor space on the first floor features a design of permeable wall-less screens, presenting an open and fluid visual experience. Different furniture types cater to various living situations, preserving moments for family to engage in quiet reflection. The formal living room, casual small lounge by the fireplace, and the open-plan kitchen in black-and-white tones are presented with a subtle, eclectic aesthetic, embodying tranquility and elegance hidden within the bustling city.

Architecture is a Container of Life
It is a description of the state of living. Through these spaces, we reflect on the world, and space becomes a projection of our inner selves.
