On Chongqing South Road, filled with memories of the past, the design is inspired by the dewy lotus leaves of a summer garden and the old book pages of the literary treasures on Guling Street. Throughout the various spaces, the lighting fixtures and suspended ceiling lights emulate these elements: mailbox designs resembling stacked books, the dining space featuring circular cages, and reflections of green water light at the pool, all evoking glimpses of local heritage. The hope is for time to linger gently within these spaces.

The design draws inspiration from the dewy lotus leaves in a midsummer botanical garden and the old book pages found among the literary treasures of Guling Street, showcasing a perfect blend of tradition and nature. The designer skillfully incorporates these elements throughout the various spaces, allowing every detail to exude a rich cultural heritage and natural ambiance.
In the interior, the lighting fixtures and suspended ceiling lights echo each other, creating a play of dappled light and flowing shadows. These fixtures serve not only as tools for illumination but also as carriers of stories, simulating the enchanting imagery of lotus leaves and book pages. For instance, the mailbox designed to resemble stacked books is both creative and functional, evoking the literary atmosphere of Guling Street; meanwhile, the round cage design in the dining area infuses a unique beauty into the dining experience, merging tradition with modernity.
The pool features a design characterized by its green water surface and layered reflections, creating a dreamlike ambiance that seems to mirror the local culture and natural landscape. This design not only pays homage to local aesthetics but also invites every visitor to experience the slow passage of time, encouraging them to linger in this space.
Additionally, the design emphasizes the uniqueness of this site, a place brimming with historical memories where past stories are hidden in every corner, waiting to be explored and discovered. These spaces are not merely places for living or recreation; they serve as cultural containers capable of holding memories and emotions.
Overall, this design aims to create a space on Chongqing South Road that is both rich in historical significance and full of vitality, allowing people to seek out past memories while also appreciating the charm of contemporary design.
