In the expansive courtyard enclosed within the grounds, candle-like lights are arranged in neat rows, casting an evocative glow. The reflective water basins mirror the surroundings, and as the wind moves, dynamic water reflections capture the eye, drawing focus to the interplay between candlelight and water, creating an inviting entrance experience.
The grounds are filled with vertically aligned bald cypress trees, arranged to form woodland paths. Over the grassy areas lies a suspended bridge, allowing unbroken sightlines and inviting a tranquil walk surrounded by lush greenery. Windows in the pavilions offer places to pause, framing forest-like views and delivering a rare sense of tranquility within the city.
The lighting design emphasizes broken line lighting, featured along corridors, lobby ceilings, pool walls, and dining room chandeliers, casting soft, candle-like illuminations. Outdoors, glossy stone pavement reflects subtle light at night, creating a dappled interplay of shadow and light.

Mirror of Water & Candle
Part I A Bird's-Eye View
The atrium surrounded by two spacious bases was decorated with images of "candle fire." On
the bases, they are aligned in an orderly wayas they lead the way when people enter
these bases
- bases which are decorated with mirror-
- like water plates.
Following these "candle lights," people focus
their eyes on the twinkling water shadows
from the blowing of wind.
Part II Roaming
Taxodium distichum trees of vertical line shape are planted across the spacious
base in an orderly way just like formations with lines and matrix.
On the lawn soothed by rain, you walk across a floating covered bridge straight as a line.Free from obstructions to your view, you walk across the spacious base and
roaming.
Against the backdrop of layers of green, you stop over a pavilion-like window and stair into it as if it was a corner of a forest......
and savor the precious serenity in this crowded and noisy city.
Part III Light
Lights from fragmented lines have turn into lamps and lanterns (in the hallway, on the lobby
ceiling ,swimming pool wall and surface of glass chandelier in the restaurant) and becomes
pavement (on outdoor stone pavement which reflects shimmering lights in the night on
smooth stone materials)just as mottled lights and shadows from candlelights casting down table.
