Located in Taichung’s Seventh Redevelopment Zone, the Reception Center is named simply "One" to evoke purity of presence. The exterior merges black and white in understated harmony, evoking the silhouette of a secluded estate at dawn. Inside, a lofty, white space features interwoven circles and semicircles, creating a rhythmic flow of light and shadow that echoes the passage of time. Here, beyond mere structure, is a place where light and life intersect, crafting a serene ode to time's quiet elegance.

The reception center is located within the 7th Redevelopment Zone in Taichung City, Taiwan, near the soon-to-be-completed National Concert Hall. Named “One” for its simplicity, the project draws on minimalist elements to align with real estate marketing goals.
The exterior is presented in a straightforward palette of white and black, embodying the essence of "one" while creating the impression of a compact manor house. Inside, the design replicates future communal spaces, featuring a high-ceilinged white environment that conveys a sense of airy openness. The design also incorporates circular elements in the form of semi-spherical shells, evoking classical simplicity. These elements offer a sense of solidity, sequence, and timeless elegance.
