Classic Cases

The integrated configuration of public facilities, landscape, facades and installations interprets the outline and connotation of the existing space design.

Through refined design language, space is not only a residence, but also a display of life. The venue is marked by time and light flows like poetry.
The space becomes a multi-dimensional work of art, with elegant lines and delicate atmosphere, all appealing to the user's senses. The classic aesthetics are revealed in the details, immersing the five senses in the experience.

Layered Mountain Formation
The architecture features minimalist, slab-like volumes arranged to create a layered mountain-like effect. Using refined materials such as stone, glass, and metal, it achieves a subtle, sophisticated texture.

Hidden Greenery and Water Amidst Urban Blocks
A space effect of "water and greenery" is crafted, allowing airflow to permeate and reducing urban heat.

Green Park-Like Base Permeability
The building is integrated within fragmented urban plots, creating a tranquil atmosphere that transitions from disorder to order.

Seasons Flowing Within the Mountain
The building terraces reflect seasonal changes, designed to evoke the seasonal imagery found in classical poetry.

Clouds Resting on the Building
The top-floor amenities are designed like a mountain peak, with hot pools and outdoor dining areas creating a unique communal space at the building's summit.

Landscape Concept|

The design of architecture, interiors, and landscapes is an integrated thought process, and the emotional realm of situational existence is the "intangible quality" we have always hoped to convey to people. We call this "existential space." In this project, the overall building is described as a small mountain, constructed from several minimalist, planar volumes. Between these volumes, clean glass predominates, presenting a silhouette of "mountain shape" at night. These strokes, reminiscent of Chinese ink wash paintings, must be expressed through relatively delicate materials such as stone, glass, metal, or tiles, using detailed planning and design to avoid becoming a rough conceptual sketch. Thus, many details and intricacies unfold together.

Architectural Facade Concept|

The building's base is situated between Taiwan Boulevard to the south and a narrow alley to the north. To best alleviate the feeling of pressure from the alley, we have cut through the lower part of the base, allowing sight lines to penetrate and view the tall trees to the south. Consequently, the overall lower part of the base is elevated, with small indoor spaces complemented by water green tones, unfolding within the winding streets and alleys. The site is embedded within fragmented plots, seamlessly integrating with the surrounding environment through the natural growth of plants from its broken edges. At night, layered upward lighting washes the walls from low to high, creating bright patches that accompany the tranquil, deep alley. Amidst the bustling commercial streets around it, this contrast deepens the atmosphere—transforming from disorder to order, suddenly evoking a sense of tranquility.

In this single-story home, the gray mosaic, paired with the subtle luster of titanium plating, creates a sense of stable and timeless beauty. The design centers on respect and care, crafting a poetic space for an elderly couple that is both functional and meaningful. Each detail, from the convenient layout of the bathing area to the appropriate height of the corridors, reflects a profound understanding and respect for life. Through the play of light and shadow, the space transcends mere shelter, becoming a continuation of existence, making every moment precious.

Purity |This design adopts a blank canvas effect as the central theme for the interior space, employing pure white and delicate black outlines as the primary colors. Here, subtraction becomes the focus of expression.
White mineral paint is applied to the walls, appearing simply white from the front, but showing the craftsmanship’s traces under side lighting. This understated approach reveals the beauty of white. Thin black panels, either painted or titanium-coated, provide sharp edges for the wall and door, creating a tension between lines and surfaces.
Personality |In residential design, I emphasize the qualities of the inhabitants, as the essence of home design lies in reflecting the homeowner's character. In this project, the owner's personalized participation is evident—from living requirements to furniture and equipment choices. Each element has undergone intensive discussions with the homeowners, ultimately taking shape and harmonizing with the space and environment.

In this space located in Taichung, where the aesthetics of the shoe industry intertwine, light and shadow dance together, resembling a theatrical performance. The dark glass display cabinets conceal treasures, only revealing their quiet, striking beauty when the lights are turned on. Every piece of furniture, from the sound system to the fireplace, is a carefully chosen detail that harmonizes with the owner's personality. The deep blue curtains billow gently, infusing the environment with dramatic emotion, showcasing the layers and depth of life. Here, it is not just a residence; it is a narrative of existence, where time stands still, inviting immersion in every detail.
