Whether walking on the green path or meditating in the reflections on the water, you can feel the quietness of time and the changes of light and shadow.

Jhu Jhih Si Dao
In a pool filled with water, glass pieces embedded in the fair-faced concrete wall float on the surface. The light reflects off the glass as the undulating water dances beneath it. As one walks slowly along the ascending pathway, following the sequence of lights, the bustling noise of the roadside gradually fades away. At the end, with the sound of cascading water, one enters an unexpectedly tranquil paradise.

Time flows like a deep and endless river, softly traversing the echoes of our years and leaving a delicate melody at every bend. It drifts like a gentle breeze caressing treetops, lingering among the veins of each leaf, slow and tender. In time’s embrace, there is the warmth of winter’s fading light and the cool clarity of a summer morning, filled with soft hues of yellow and serene blue. Memories are quietly kept within its current, with each emotion transforming into a lasting impression of time, guiding us ever forward on our journey.

Art Museum King's Landing
Theater
Using layers of overlapped space, a corner of private garden connects an open and transparent theater-like lobby. Water piercing through the room from outside is decorated together with endless green in this space of layers. Surprises are constantly around in this stable scene-after- scene gray color.

In the expansive courtyard enclosed within the grounds, candle-like lights are arranged in neat rows, casting an evocative glow. The reflective water basins mirror the surroundings, and as the wind moves, dynamic water reflections capture the eye, drawing focus to the interplay between candlelight and water, creating an inviting entrance experience.
The grounds are filled with vertically aligned bald cypress trees, arranged to form woodland paths. Over the grassy areas lies a suspended bridge, allowing unbroken sightlines and inviting a tranquil walk surrounded by lush greenery. Windows in the pavilions offer places to pause, framing forest-like views and delivering a rare sense of tranquility within the city.
The lighting design emphasizes broken line lighting, featured along corridors, lobby ceilings, pool walls, and dining room chandeliers, casting soft, candle-like illuminations. Outdoors, glossy stone pavement reflects subtle light at night, creating a dappled interplay of shadow and light.

Winding
The choice to make a secondary road the main entrance to the community creates a tranquil urban green space facing the main road, responding to the noise of the commercial street. The aim is to establish a residential community that offers a sense of seclusion amidst the bustling city.
Layers
The open, wall-less facade allows passersby to gaze into the community through pools and sculptures. However, with layered walls and extended eaves that gradually lower, a sense of depth and spatial layering is achieved through horizontal and vertical elements, reminiscent of the transition and deep spatial layers found in traditional Chinese gardens.

Using the concept of transparent layering, the design creates a spatial depth that balances elements of proximity and distance, clarity and blur, flow and fixity. The role of walls extends beyond merely defining space; they also provide a setting for silence and contemplation, shaping emotionally rich scenes. The interaction of water, trees, and glass creates a dreamlike playfulness, with natural light casting shadows through the glass walls into the interior, allowing the outside landscape to become part of the indoor experience. The interior design features open, wall-less screens that integrate various furniture types, adapting to different living situations and showcasing the serene beauty hidden within the bustling city. Overall, architecture serves as a container for life, reflecting the state of living and the inner self.
